Within the last years, the market demanded for increased size of Type C cargo tanks, to improve the ship’s scale of economy for long distance liquefied gas transportation. Star Gas Tank Design developed a cargo tank system, which utilizes 25% more of liquefied gas than conventional cargo tank system, on of these tanks is our Star Trilobe Tank.
Due to our unique design and construction of the mega tanks, the on-shore storage terminal operators became interested in AC-INOX technologies, to be able to modularize their storage capacities including flexibility of the stored cargoes. With this technology, the terminal operators are able to increase the plot by market demand and to adapt to meet the market requirements, which results in the benefit of utilization and flexibility.
